During the kickoff charrette, Users explained to the A/E designers functional inefficiencies caused by Fort Gordon’s scattered services; thus, inspiring the A/Es to develop problem solving options that would make tasks less difficult for military personnel and their families who are required to interface with several offices on the installation.

The design encompasses the demolition, repair and renovation of four adjacent buildings (35200, 35201, 35202 and 35203). The buildings are being converted from retail space to state-of-the-art administrative space using the latest available under floor delivery systems for HVAC, electrical and communications systems. All current requirements and codes were met.
