Joint Personal Effects Depot

The task order was for the architect to program and design the Joint Personal Effects Depot. The JPED contains a compartmental area for personal effects sorting with a documentation area for photographic staging. The facility contains a high value personal effects storage area with security system. Additional spaces include the following: washer & dryer area with table top large item wash tables and clean item folding and packing tables area with locking doors; compartmental final process arreas with locking doors and a shipping area with two loading docks; admin area; personal effects electronic processing area; chilled bio-hazard storage area; computer room for JPED employees; toilets, shower, and locker area; conference and training rooms; lunch and break area; lighted hardstand area for parking and container storage. Project includes security, communication and cooling. HVAC is expected to be approximately 75 Tons.
