The JOLM Facility is a 2-story building. The facility is a steel framed structure on concrete floor slab with shallow foundation, conventional stucco exterior finish on concrete masonry unit in-fill and sloping metal roof deck with standing seem metal roof. The JOLM Facility houses 111 personnel and will be compatible with the community of buildings of similar form, style, material and details to comply with MacDill AFB architectural compatibility plan.
The new JOLM Facility is constructed to meet Department of Defense (DoD) standards with numerous internal areas constructed per Controlled Access requirements with Intrusion Detection (IDS) and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) for exterior entrances and Access control/intrusion detection/CCTV system for SCIF areas. Male and female restrooms with showers are constructed to meet ADA accessibility requirements. Life safety systems, essential communication systems and building lighting are supported by an emergency generator located in utility yard. The second floor is secure/controlled access and meets all Secured Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) requirements in accordance with Intelligence Communivty Directive No. 705 (ICD 705).
