This project will consist of the construction of the Pedestrian Overpass at Fort Gordon, Georgia. The Overpass will be constructed to minimize the potential of pedestrian and vehicle conflicts at Chamberlain Avenue. The Structure will include two Stair towers. The Overpass will have a 16’-4” wide concrete broomed finish walking surface. The project will also have an elevator with equipment room.

The Pedestrian Overpass provides a safe crossing for pedestrian over Chamberlain Avenue. This structure will consist of a Truss railing system with steel beams and purlins supporting a concrete deck. Stairs will be metal pan with concrete.

The Elevator tower will have an arched standing seam roof. The Elevator will require an equipment room next to the elevator tower that will house the elevator equipment and electrical panel. This elevator equipment room is a single story structure with a 5:12 slope standing seam metal roof.
